A simple guide to moving money with UniFi.

Adding money to UniFi

Fund your account with your own money:

  • From your U.S. bank — Link your bank in UniFi, or transfer using your account/routing number or wire
  • Debit card — Add funds with your card, usually instant but can take up to 48 hours. A 3.5% processing fee applies, and the maximum gross amount (deposit + fee) is $500 per transaction.
  • Google Pay — Add funds directly from Google Pay

Receiving money into UniFi

Get paid by others. Just share your details:

  • From the U.S. — Share your account number and routing number (like a regular U.S. bank account)
  • From the Philippines — Share your QR code. They scan it from GCash, Maya, or any PH bank app, and it arrives as USD

Sending money from UniFi

Send money near or far:

  • To a U.S. bank — Send to any checking or savings account
  • To the Philippines — Send to any bank or e-wallet (GCash, Maya, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, and more)
  • To Europe — Send to any EU bank account via SEPA
  • To Mexico — Send to any Mexican bank account
  • Don't have their details? — Send to their email or phone number and let them choose how to receive it

Common questions

How do I add money?

The easiest way is to link your U.S. bank account. You can also initiate a transfer from your bank to your UniFi account and routing number, or add funds instantly with a debit card.

How do I send money to the Philippines?

You can send to a Philippine bank account using their bank details, or via QR Ph. If you don't know their details, send to their email address or phone number, and we'll let them decide how they'd like to receive the money.

Can my family in the Philippines use UniFi?

Yes! They can hold USD (a more stable currency), receive payments, earn 3% rewards on their balance, and spend locally in Philippine Peso with QR Ph. The UniFi Card is currently U.S.-only.

Can my family in the Philippines send me money?

Yes! Share your QR code with them. They scan it from GCash, Maya, or their bank app, send PHP, and it arrives as USD.

Can I send or receive from other countries?

Yes, UniFi supports EUR and MXN transfers too. You can enable EUR or MXN account details to receive transfers from Europe or Mexico.

Is there a fee to convert currencies?

No markup. No fee. You get the same exchange rate we get.
