Why Is My Transaction Pending?
Most transactions on UniFi process quickly, but some take longer depending on the type of transfer and external factors. If your transaction is showing as "Pending," it's usually still being processed and will complete on its own.
Expected Processing Times
Here's how long each type of transaction typically takes:
| Transaction Type | Typical Processing Time |
|---|---|
| Debit card deposit | Usually instant, but can take up to 48 hours |
| ACH deposit (linked bank) | 1–3 business days |
| Same Day ACH | Same day |
| Wire transfer (U.S.) | Same day |
| UniFi-to-UniFi transfer | Instant |
| Send to Philippines (under ₱50,000) | Instant via InstaPay |
| Send to Philippines (₱50,000 or more) | 1–3 business days via PESONet |
| QR Ph deposit | Usually instant, may take a few extra minutes |
| USDC transfer | 1–10 minutes |
| Send to U.S. bank account (ACH) | 1–3 business days |
| Send to Europe (SEPA) | Instant to 2 days |
| Send to Mexico (SPEI) | Instant to 2 days |
| SWIFT transfer | 1–5 business days, fees vary by destination |
| IBAN transfer | 1–3 business days, fees vary by destination |
Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. and local holidays. Transfers initiated on evenings, weekends, or holidays may not begin processing until the next business day.
Why Transactions Can Take Longer
Even within the expected timeframes, processing times can vary due to:
- Bank processing schedules — Banks process transfers in batches at set times throughout the day. If your transfer is submitted after a cutoff time, it may not be picked up until the next batch.
- Weekends and holidays — ACH and bank transfers don't process on weekends or bank holidays.
- Compliance review — Occasionally, a transaction may require additional verification as part of routine fraud and risk controls. This is standard practice across all financial institutions.
- Network delays — Third-party payment networks (like the ACH network or card processors) can sometimes experience slower processing.
