  • GCash — The most popular e-wallet in the Philippines
  • Maya — Another widely-used Philippine e-wallet
  • Philippine banks — BDO, BPI, Metrobank, LandBank, UnionBank, PNB, and more

Don't know your recipient's bank details? Send to their email or phone number and let them choose how to receive the money.

Fees and exchange rates

UniFi uses the real mid-market exchange rate with no markup and no fees.

Adding a recipient in the Philippines

To add a new Philippine recipient:

  1. From the dashboard, tap Move money
  2. Choose Send money to someone else
  3. Tap New recipient
  4. Select Send to Philippines
  5. Choose the delivery method:
    • GCash — Enter their GCash mobile number
    • Maya — Enter their Maya mobile number
    • Bank account — Enter their bank and account number
  6. Enter their name and save

Once added, your recipient is saved for future transfers.

Receiving money from the Philippines

UniFi also lets you receive PHP from the Philippines. Share your QR code with family or friends in the Philippines. They scan it from GCash, Maya, or any Philippine bank app, send PHP, and it arrives in your UniFi account as USD.

PHP deposits automatically convert to USD at the mid-market rate. No markup. No fees.
